7th Sunday of Easter 2022
Dear Friends,
Last weekend was certainly packed and impactful. Father Linus on behalf of the Mission Co-op Appeal, spoke at all the Masses about the needs of the Donkorkrom Apostolic Vicariate in Ghana. For those who attended the Vigil Mass, you heard the very long version of his appeal; those who attended the Sunday Masses heard his shortened version. He was a very engaging and kind priest and shared about the many needs they are facing. Your donation for this mission appeal may be placed in the collection baskets with your Sunday donations for our parish. Mark the envelope for the “Missions” or write that in the memo portion of the check.

Dear Friends,
From our Gospel, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” Who does not long for peace? What is the peace we long for? Certainly, our hearts continue to cry to God for peace in Ukraine and the troubled spots of the world. A peace that brings an end to violence, suffering, devastation. That is one form of peace that our human family longs for. We also long for peace in our families, our neighborhoods, our workplaces.

Dear Friends,
What beautiful celebrations for our parish family last weekend. Mother Nature did not offer her best but that did not stifle the gifts of the Lord and the joy of the Holy Spirit from touching us very deeply.
