Pastor's Reflection
Twenty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time, September 3, 2023
Dear Friends,
Every blessing to you and yours on this Labor Day weekend, as summertime activities draw to an end and the hustle and bustle of Fall commands our attention. Holy Cross Regional begins classes this Wednesday. I know several other local schools have already begun classes. May God bless our teachers and students with every gift of the Holy Spirit for a fruitful year of study and growth.

Dear Friends,
I hope you are still looking out for our Two Dollar Sunday! It’s coming to Saint Eleanor soon. Hint: not until after Labor Day weekend. Keep watching.
Many of you know Jean Phillips, not simply by name but personally. She is the Administrative Assistant in our parish office. Jean’s tenure in the office spans eighteen and a half years. She possesses a wealth of information about so many of the things that take place here in the parish. Jean’s service to the clergy, staff, volunteers, and parishioners arises out of her deep faith, extending great care and concern for others. Jean is preparing for retirement, effective October 20, 2023. She will be greatly missed! We wish her every blessing and grace in this new adventure in her life!
Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time, August 20, 2023
Dear Friends,
Last weekend, it was a pleasure to welcome back Father Jason Buck. It was great catching up with him and all he is doing. Father Buck spoke at all the Masses about the Seminary, its relocation, and its onetime appeal for its endowment.
