Pastor's Reflection
Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time, September 24, 2023
Dear Friends,
September is always such a busy month here at Saint Eleanor. Besides the beginning of school, we have our annual Forty Hours devotions (which were so beautiful) and our parish and school Feast Day. All within the first half of the month. Also, many parish activities pick up again in full force, after the quieter summer months.
Twenty-Forth Sunday in Ordinary Time, September 17, 2023
Dear Friends,
Last weekend we announced with sadness that part of the priest personnel changes in the Archdiocese includes Father Graebe being reassigned to Saint Andrew Parish, Newtown, Bucks County. We will miss his priestly ministry here, his insightful and challenging homilies, his kindness, and his wit. We know that he will bring all of these to bear in his new ministry at Saint Andrew.
Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time, September 10, 2023
Dear Friends,
Here it is! Our Forty Hours opens with the 12 Noon Mass and continues through Tuesday evening. Come and spend some quiet prayer time with Jesus our Lord truly and really present to us in the Most Blessed Sacrament. When we come to Him, we never leave His presence the same way as we came in. He always graces us, one way or another! Adoration visits can be made after the Noon Mass until 7 pm on Sunday. And on Monday / Tuesday, from 7 am to 7 pm (except during the celebration of Mass at 9 am). Jesus waits for you.
