Dear Friends,
I am writing after the closing celebration of our Forty Hours devotions which ended on our parish feast day, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Having grown up in Holy Cross Parish, Springfield, I have an attachment to this particular feast that is rooted in memory with my childhood.

In the midst of this Memorial Day weekend, as we remember, honor, and pray for all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country, we celebrate the great solemn feast of the Most Holy Trinity.
He is Risen!
Dear Friends,
Jesus Christ is risen! “The Lord is truly risen, alleluia.” Happy and blessed Easter to you and your loved ones! In the Easter Sequence, we pray these words of profound joy, “Christians, to the Paschal Victim, Offer your thankful praises! …Christ indeed from death is risen, our new life obtaining. Have mercy, victor King, ever reigning! Amen. Alleluia.”
