My dear, dear friends,
“Today is born our Savior, Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11) And so join our voices with the Angels in Bethlehem, “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” (Luke 2:14)
On behalf of Father Graebe, Monsignor Murray, Deacons Hasson and Hinson, Seminarian Jude Arkesh Ragel, and our parish staff, I extend to each of you and to all your loved ones our wishes for a very Blessed and merry Christmas!
On this most blessed day, when God was born into our world in Flesh and Blood, I offer Him my thanks and gratitude for each one of you ~ for all you are, for your vibrant faith, for your caring compassion for others especially those in need, for all you do supporting our parish family and efforts to be passionate disciples of the Lord. God bless you and keep you in every way!
As we give thanks for God’s many bountiful and overwhelming blessings, I want to remind you that our parish continues to “Tithe the Tithe,” out of profound gratitude to God for all His gifts. That is, we give three percent of our ordinary Sunday income to various charities. This is in addition to all the many donations you make for all the various drives throughout the year, donating food, baby items, back to school items, clothing, toiletries and so much more. As I say so often, “God is never outdone in generosity.” He blesses all those who give so much.
May you and your loved ones enjoy every blessing and grace this day and throughout this coming Octave week of Christmas into the Christmas season and into the new year!
God bless you, God love you, and I love you,
Monsignor McCulken
