A Protecting God’s Children, Safe Environment Mandatory Training class is available at St. Eleanors on Friday, October 30 at 1 p.m.

If you need this training, you are strongly encouraged to ACT NOW and sign up, as slots fill up very quickly.

Please note that the Archdiocese of Philadelphia requires that all parish adult volunteers and employees ages 18 and over, that have contact with children, take a mandatory class Virtus Protecting God’s Children.

You need only take this class once.

From the very first moment last night, you could feel something special in the air. Sophia Chetta (8th grade) set the tone beautifully with a powerful rendition of the National Anthem, filling the field with pride and energy.

From there, our girls took over—delivering big plays, timely hits, and strong defense when it mattered most. With heart, teamwork, and determination on full display, St. Eleanor rose to the occasion and defeated St. Monica’s to capture the championship.

This victory is a testament to the dedication of our players, coaches, and families throughout the entire season.

A Special Week for St. Eleanor CYO!

We are excited to share that both our Varsity Softball and Varsity Baseball teams have advanced to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Championship Games—a rare and wonderful accomplishment for one parish community!

As Matt Hasher, Head of Athletics for AOP/CYO, shared:

“We’ve only had a handful of instances where one parish has both boys' and girls' teams in the same final… it’ll definitely be a fun two days for the community!”

🔥 GAME RECAP: WHAT. A. BATTLE. 🔥
We lost the coin toss and took the field as the away team—but wasted no time making noise at the plate. After Carroll got things started with a walk and Scavone lined one to center, Katelyn Howarth stepped up and launched an absolute BOMB over right field! 💣🔥 That blast set the tone early, and with hits from Zielinski, Fox, and Mogg, we jumped out to a 4-0 lead right out of the gate.

Calvary answered right back, taking advantage of a few miscues and proving why they’re one of the best—closing the gap to 4-2 and eventually tying things up 4-4. 💥 Game on.
In the 4th, the Crusaders answered. Fox ripped her second double of the night, DiBenedetto got on, and Mogg came through with a clutch RBI to give us back the lead. Then Ward delivered another big hit to stretch it to 6-4—and that little bit of breathing room made a BIG difference.

From there, Howarth was locked in, racking up key strikeouts and shutting the door when it mattered most. The defense backed her up in a big way—highlighted by a HUGE double play from Zielinski and DiBenedetto. 💪
Even with Calvary bringing the heart of their lineup in the 7th, the Crusaders stayed composed and finished strong to secure a hard-fought 6-4 WIN! ✅

Beginning June 14 - September 6, the 7:30am Mass will be celebrated without music for the summer months only. We look forward to resuming music at the 7:30 AM Mass in September.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our parish music ministry.

ALERT! Sidewalk repairs will begin the 3rd week of June along Locust Street and 6th Avenue to repair existing cracks, fissures, and gaps.

The sidewalk surrounding the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue will also be repaired in early July.

We are proud to announce that our Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team has been crowned the 2026 Region 21 Champions following an outstanding 6–5 victory over SPN in the championship game.

The team displayed outstanding skill, unity, and determination throughout the season and during the championship game. Their success reflects their unwavering commitment and hard work, along with the exceptional leadership of Head Coach Dan Jusko, who steered the team to this impressive accomplishment.

With this victory, the team has earned the opportunity to advance to the Philadelphia Archdiocese Tournament. They defeated St. Luke’s in the first round and will play Saint Richard’s in the semifinals on Thursday night. ⁣ Congratulations to the players and coaches on this exciting accomplishment. We wish them continued success as they represent our parish at the next level!

Knights of Columbus Council 3633 was proud to support the inaugural Home Town Torch Run. The event brought together local law enforcement, Perkiomen Valley High School students, and community members to support Special Olympics Pennsylvania. The 1.5-mile run carried the Flame of Hope from Central Perkiomen Park to PVHS, raising both funds and awareness.

The event also celebrated PVHS being named a National Unified Champion School—an honor recognizing its commitment to inclusion for students with intellectual disabilities. The energy, joy, and sense of belonging on display were truly inspiring, with students sharing how meaningful the experience was to them.

The Knights continue their commitment to Special Olympics Pennsylvania and building a culture of inclusion in our community.

Celebrated forty days after Easter, the Feast of the Ascension of Jesus commemorates the moment when the risen Christ, before the eyes of his apostles, ascended bodily into heaven (Acts 1:9–11).

The Ascension marks the completion of Jesus’ earthly mission and the beginning of his exaltation at the right hand of the Father, where he intercedes for us as our eternal High Priest. It reminds us that heaven is our true home and that Jesus, fully God and fully man, has gone before us to prepare a place for us in the Father’s house.

Dear Families, God is Good! We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at the Family Holy Half Hour starting at 5:30 pm.
We’ll begin with uplifting worship music in the chapel, led by our talented teens, followed by a pizza dinner in Vianney Hall.

It’s a sacred, Eucharistic, and joy-filled way to end your week together as a family.

Readings & Reflections

Summer 2026

Readings and Reflections is our opportunity to explore how the Sunday Mass Readings apply to our daily life. Join us to reflect on the meaning of God's Word in discussions with like-minded individuals and friends. Mondays June 1, 2026 to August 31, 2026.

Registration not required. Drop in any Monday evening to Vianney Hall.

On Federal Holidays, we have a 9:00 AM Mass only and no Adoration. The Parish Office is also closed.

Parking

Parishioners and Visitors of the St. Eleanor Catholic Church may park in the parking lot adjacent to the Church on Saturdays, Sundays and Holy Days using the main entrance facing Locust Street. Alternate: entrances on 6^th street, small parking lot, you can enter though the side door of the church.

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a life-long adventure-discovering the nature of God and exploring what it means to be rooted in relationship with their Creator, a safe place in life's storms.

Registration will open Sunday April 12 at 8:30 am for Vacation Bible School!

Once we hit 80 participates registration will be closed.

VBS is open to children entering PreK-4 through 5th grade in Fall of 2026.

Please note that closed-toe shoes are required - no sandals.
