Knights of Columbus Council 3633 was proud to support the inaugural Home Town Torch Run.  The event brought together local law enforcement, Perkiomen Valley High School students, and community members to support Special Olympics Pennsylvania. The 1.5-mile run carried the Flame of Hope from Central Perkiomen Park to PVHS, raising both funds and awareness.

The event also celebrated PVHS being named a National Unified Champion School—an honor recognizing its commitment to inclusion for students with intellectual disabilities. The energy, joy, and sense of belonging on display were truly inspiring, with students sharing how meaningful the experience was to them.

The Knights continue their commitment to Special Olympics Pennsylvania and building a culture of inclusion in our community.

Celebrated forty days after Easter, the Feast of the Ascension of Jesus commemorates the moment when the risen Christ, before the eyes of his apostles, ascended bodily into heaven (Acts 1:9–11).

The Ascension marks the completion of Jesus’ earthly mission and the beginning of his exaltation at the right hand of the Father, where he intercedes for us as our eternal High Priest. It reminds us that heaven is our true home and that Jesus, fully God and fully man, has gone before us to prepare a place for us in the Father’s house.

Readings and Reflections is our opportunity to explore how the Sunday Mass Readings apply to our daily life. Join us to reflect on the meaning of God's Word in discussions with like-minded individuals and friends. Mondays June 1, 2026 to August 31, 2026.

Parking

Parishioners and Visitors of the St. Eleanor Catholic Church may park in the parking lot adjacent to the Church on Saturdays, Sundays and Holy Days using the main entrance facing Locust Street. Alternate: entrances on 6^th street, small parking lot, you can enter though the side door of the church.

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a life-long adventure-discovering the nature of God and exploring what it means to be rooted in relationship with their Creator, a safe place in life's storms.

Catholic Charities Appeal 2026 Donate Now

The Life of St Antony- The First Monk Thursday, March 26  7:00pm in Church it will be live streamed. 

Explore one of the greatest Christian classics from the 4th century and reflect on the radical faith and courage of Saint Antony of Egypt, the Father of Monasticism and the first hermit. This series draws deeply from The Life of St. Antony, written by Athanasius of Alexandria, a foundational spiritual work that has inspired Christians for centuries.

A Lenten Invitation to Care for our Parish Home

Dear Parishioner,

Over the past eight months, it has been an amazing blessing to serve as your pastor here at Saint Eleanor. I am deeply grateful for your warm welcome and for the vibrant spirit of faith, generosity, and trust that thrives in our parish. Together, we continue the mission entrusted to us by Jesus.

As part of my responsibility, I have been working closely with our Finance Council to better learn and understand the practical needs of our parish. Together, we have identified several significant priorities that require immediate attention:

1. Deferred maintenance projects are essential to the safety, functionality, upkeep, and long-term care of our parish campus. These needs were not included in our current operating budget, yet most are time-sensitive and cannot be delayed
2. A notable deficit in Sunday collections due to snowstorms (Dec. 13-14; Jan. 17-18; and Jan. 25) has left a considerable gap in parish income. 

The total cost of high-priority items is $111,500.00. (See below).

Lent is a season that calls us to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving – a time to renew our trust in the Lord and our commitment to one another. In that spirit, I invite you to participate in our Lenten Appeal to help us meet these important needs. This appeal is not about obligation, but about shared stewardship and love for the parish we call home.

I ask you to prayerfully consider how you might support this effort, according to your ability and in whatever way God leads you. Every gift, no matter the size, is meaningful, and all contributions will go directly to these necessary needs. Any surplus will be held in reserve for the prospective installation of a new audio system for the Church.

Lenten Appeal 2026

Most of all, I ask your prayers for our parish, our shared mission, and for our listening to God’s call.

Critical Deferred Maintenance Projects:

• Repairs and drain work for our parking lots: $25,800.00.
• New fire alarm system for the Church and the parish office buildings: $18,000.00.
• Outside lighting to illuminate a section of our parish roadway that intersects two critical crosswalks: $8,300.00.
• Painting the Sacristy, Music Room, and Machinery Room: $7,000.00.
• Installation of stair railings on either side of the main altar: $2,500.00
• Two defibrillators, with child paddles, one for Vianney Hall and one for Kateri Hall: $2,400.
• Snow removal costs that have exceeded our current budget: $10,400.00.
• Preventative removal of dead trees and removal of fallen trees (With so many beautiful woods around our campus we are probably the only Church in the Archdiocese that needs a separate budget line for trees!): $5,000.00.
• Other miscellaneous deferred maintenance for security, operations, and special cleaning: $9,400.00.

Deficit in Sunday Collections due to Snowstorms:

• Snow affected attendance at Mass, which impacted three separate Sunday Collections (Dec. 13-14; Jan. 17-18; and January 25) for a total of $22,700 in decreased donations compared to proximate Sundays.

Please contact the St. Eleanor Parish office to request that a copy of your 2025 tax records be emailed to you. These documents will not be mailed out automatically this year.

Each Christmas, Saint Eleanor Catholic Church presents one of our largest community events of the year—our annual Christmas concert—welcoming more than 600 people to experience the joy of the season through music. Our multi-parish adult choir, joined by over 50 children in our youth choir, representing many local schools, fills the church with voices of hope and celebration. To enrich this experience, we invite professional vocalists and instrumentalists to collaborate with our choirs, alongside talented local college students, ensuring a concert of excellence and inspiration.

This Christmas on Sunday, December 12, celebrate 250 years of our nation's history by exploring how generations of Christians in America have celebrated and proclaimed the birth of Christ through sacred music.

New This Year: Two Youth Choirs!

• As our Christmas Concert continues to grow, we are excited to offer two youth choirs this year. Allowing our young singers to learn, grow, and find their voice in a setting designed especially for them. Students in grades 5-8 are welcome to sing with the Cherub choir.

Concert Choir is open to all members of our parish and surrounding parishes.
